I'm a systems administrator by trade and a builder by compulsion. Since 2015 I've kept the infrastructure running at Guidestone — before that, two decades split across telecommunications, disaster recovery, and enterprise systems administration, which is its own long education in how things break and what it costs when they do.

In whatever time is left over, I design and ship software solo — desktop tools, edge services, and increasingly, things with Claude's reasoning built directly into the workflow.

I didn't move to Oklahoma thinking I'd stay. The road here ran through Poughkeepsie, New York, then Houston, then College Station, then Dallas, before it finally landed in Oklahoma. Every stop along the way felt like just that — a stop, not a destination. Stroud had other plans.

Somewhere in the quiet — the kind that takes some getting used to — it stopped feeling temporary. It started feeling like home, the kind you don't have to explain to anyone, including yourself. I've been here since, and I've stopped looking for the next place.

It shows up in the work, too. The Rock Cafe, over in the Builds tab, isn't just a project — it's the diner down the road, in the town I now call mine.

The day job. Keeping enterprise infrastructure trustworthy at Guidestone, since 2015. It's the job that pays, and the discipline everything else inherits.

The rest of it. An ongoing, ever-shifting list of desktop apps, edge services, and Claude-integrated tools — designed, built, and shipped solo. Cloudflare Workers by default. A single file when it can be. Something you can click around in, over a wall of text, every time.
